Why I haven't been as active as I normally am.

Like the new blog layout? I love it! So to the point, I haven't been as active as I normally am for a few reasons. One, Im really caught up with school work, If I can finish all the online classes, then I will be done once and for all. Second, Im still working on my deal with Machinima and I'd like it to go through. Expect by New Years for my channel to be back to what it once was. Thanks for sticking with me guys!

New staff coming for 'TheyCallMeHydro'

In the past months, you might of noticed, my video's had alot of the same faces, and lots of upgrades compared to my early content. As of today alot of personal drama has happened between alot of the cast members. I hate to inform everyone, but the TheyCallMeHydro project will be getting a whole brand new cast! Some people will not be leaving, just not as much of them as It use to be, but we do have plans of bringing in a bunch of new faces before 2012 comes. I hope everyone likes the new way the content is going to be filmed, acted, edited, and released.

My Personal Channel Hits 100,000 Video Views!

At the time of this post the channel only has 94,000 upload views, but very soon I feel It will hit 100,000. 100,000 isn't big compared to my main which holds almost 1,800,000 views, but still 100,000 views is amazing.  I can't explain how happy I am that you guys helped support me this far. All together I almost hold 2,000,000 video views. That is a hell of alot of views! Thanks everyone for the support!

Vlogging Every Day Or Two.

I have decided. Since I have alot of spare time on my hands Im going to try and use my personal channel every day or two and upload a video, I doubt they will all be about me, some might be movie reviews or stuff like that, But still, Im going to put it to more use!

My Personal Channel.

Hey Guys! Wow! Ive been blogging alot more than normal, weird. Oh well! So guys since I've had alot of free time lately I decided to quit my artistic channel and focus more time into my 2nd channel / vlogging channel / personal channel hahaha. I went out recently and purchased a 50mm lens for my canon, and I love the effect it gives my vlogs, so Im going to try and talk about news topics, viral topics, reviews, replys, ect anything and everything I want. I also want to thank you guys for letting my personal channel reach OVER 1,100 subscribers! Thats insane! I love you all! Thanks for the support, Im very grateful of it.

Coffin Nails Canceled.

After production of Episode 1. I have come to the decision to cancel the series. I loved the idea, I spent hours writing the first season and stuff, but I just don't wanna limit my content to just one series, I want my variety of sketches. Im sorry for anyone that this news is gonna disappoint.

Lots of projects, Lots of work.

With the start of the TCMH Network, I was able to create and build lots of side projects. Alot of my new projects that have nothing to do with the Network gave me the opportunity to work with lots of amazing people like OhRandomRebecca (Co-Owner of #YTMoney), KayleighKill (One of the owners of a new project) and many other new faces. As of now my Projects and Network channels have reached 8 channels, and over 100+ Videos. I know Im expanding fast, but its actually not for obvious reasons, Im not doing it for the money, Hell #YTMoney is a non-profit organization. What Im doing this for is to keep me working and keep my mind off other matters, and to help the community grow. With School, My Channels, and My Network Channels, my days are getting really filled, and with the launch of the Coffin Nails series, my time is gonna be very limited. Im actually very excited to see how all this turns out, looking back a year ago, I had just made Partner, I had no clue I'd be where I am today, Thank you everyone, we are giving Youtube one hell of a run for its money (:

TheyCallMeHydro Network Explained.

So guys, If you have noticed recently, I haven't been uploading as much. This is for 1 big reason, I am now a CMS Account holder (Google It) And by having this I can Partner Channels that I own. Since I have alot of ideas for shows, but not enough time to film, and produce everything I have hired a few other users to help me produce these new channels. You will see there fresh faces on the channels instide of mine, but I will still be there writing scripts, and helping with the editing process.

IMPORTANT: Before saying "Your not suppose to make people partners!" Im not, Im making Shows. Shows OWNED by me, RUN by me, DEVELOPED by me. I just am not in the cast, Think of me as the director. Dear, Fate. Here we meet again.

The past few videos have all been based around this character, you probably know of him as The Wild European ( Lumberjack Dave Von Snitzle Hymn ). Originally, he was going to be a random character that played in one of my videos, but after a few days I came up with a new concept to add him into. Ultimately he ended up having a Trilogy.

Im officially going to say, Im done with him. Im really bored of the Idea for the Wild European, He did very well within his first episode, but me and myself, and alot of my viewers found him hard to follow toward Episode 3. I didn't kill him off or anything in the final episode, but I did personally stop working on projects with him in it. I might be focusing on more serious videos, or hell maybe a new character, maybe something along the lines of 'Water Boy'? (:

The Fate of my other characters.

This question has been asked alot, and I always answer it the same way. I believe its time to fully make this public. I have no intention on bringing the Hydro Family back. The family was one of my first concepts on my channel, and It never took off like I wanted. I do think maybe a 'Papa Dro' spin off series or episode would be cool, but as of now nothing like that is on my mind. Im focusing on me as a person; or in other terms, me as Hydro. Lumberjack Dave is also not going to have his own series or anything. He was a interesting concept to run with, and I could see myself playing him again, but again, not my main focus.

Writers Block.

Writers Block. The thing people in the entertainment industry fear most. I just have my mind on so many other issues, School being one of those top ones. I hate school, absolutely HATE it. I have been filming a few videos lately, they just are not edited, but I don't wanna stop. I wanna keep filming, more...and more...and more. Problem is I feel im becoming played out. Idea wise, Im out. I can't find the motivation to script a video. My recent ones have been all Improv, and If you know me, I HATE improv, because I suck so badly at It. I don't know, give it a few days Hydro, and maybe just maybe I will fix this.

Why 'HeyHydro' is gone.

Haha, Yeah its true, Im only running 2 channels now, not 3. Sadly I can say when HeyHydro got partnered, I didn't expect it, or kinda want it, but I didn't wanna turn down a partnership. So as of 8/10/2011 Im stopping work on it. The past week ive had alot of new ideas come to mind, and just started seeing things in a different perspective. I need to focus my effort onto my main channel, not my 2nd or 3rd, and I need to stop giving half effort.


Maybe later in the future HeyHydro can return.

Yes, Its true, Im officially censoring Hydro. After watching my newest video and removing it almost right after it got uploaded, I decided that its time. I have always thought of myself as down to earth, so after talking to a few of my viewers about there opinion on this, I have decided its the right decision.

"S#!ttin On The Industry" VS "Hydro" Season 2!!!

As of today I tallied up my views I have on all my shows.
These views are based off the videos still on my channel, alot of the "AskHydro" and "Hydro" season 1 videos have been removed prior to this.


Hydro Season 1: 459,809
Hydro Season 2:         38,100
AskHydro:            76,085
Shittin On The Industry:       21,512

As you can see, Season 1 is unmatched by far, followed by AskHydro and Season 2. The funny thing is, Shittin On The Industry has only 2 episodes already, and has almost as many views as Hydro Season 2! Will Shittin On The Industry become more well known than my main series? Who knows!

Also, Im about to be releasing my 4th channel! This will be my 3rd monetized channel in my "Hydro Network" I hope the show released on it can keep you guys attention! Ive been working for a while to obtain this channel and show!

Channel Cleanup / May 2011

Hey Everyone!

Long time no blog? Lol. Well ever since I got partnered around once a month I go threw my channel and do ALOT of cleanup and redesigning to make it more possessional. This time im going to tell you guys everything that will change :)

Changes In May 2011: (For TheyCallMeHydro not Hydro)


1) ALL my videos will get new thumbnails.
2) ALL my videos will get new meta data.
3) More of AskHydro videos will be deleted.

Reason for #3: Well AskHydro was a show I did just to answer questions, but I didn't really feel like I put enough work into it. So in most my channel updates I go threw and remove 1 or 2. This time MOST will be removed. I might bring the series 100% back on Hydro but im not positive.

Playlist LIVE is over, and it took a part of me with it :(

Ever since Playlist LIVE ended last weekend, ive overall been more motivated, but I kinda feel weird. Its like being there was me surrounded by people like me, now that im home its just not the same.

Does anyone else feel like this ;o?

Daley Series, Aka 'Like Clockwork'

So as you guys know, I haven't been active in the last week.

The 2 reasons for this are, laziness, and redesigning my 'Daley' series Idea.

The name has officially been made 'Like Clockwork' for a number of reasons.

The series is not like 'Hydro' it is a more of a dark series plot, and each episode will

have a form of moral lesson, its kinda hard to explain how it will play out, but expect it to be different.

Finished Editing New Video

Sorry I haven't updated this recently, but I just got the time to finish editing my new video (Heres a hint about it, It only has Papa Dro in it :) ) I was originally going to upload it last weekend, but stuff came up as you guys know, and I got to film with FunnyMeNow, MrTheyCallMeOxygen, and xxRobyCxx. Holy Ape SHIT!

I made a Interactive video yesterday. First let me rewind, At about noon yesterday Roby (xxRobyCxx) called me and said him and Chris (MrTheyCallMeOxygen) were going up to clearwater to meet Matt (FunnyMeNow) and wanted me to tag along. After a few hours of driving we got there and all got to meet all face to face, and quickly started developing a video idea. Eventually the idea of a 'Interactive Video' came  into play. So after 4+ hours of filming, and editing, The video is finnaly up on each of our channels :) I hope you guys enjoyed it, it was really fun to make.

ALSO: My Papa Dro cooking skit that I have already filmed, Im going to release it in a few days (Kinda blown out on editing for a day or two xD)

Daley Announced! / True View Ads

Hello my few loyal followers; who actually read this. As of Yesterday my newest series 'Daley' has been announced. This series will be having its pilot episode in February.Unlike 'Hydro' this series has two things unique about it, One, The audience gets to choice after the first episode (pilot episode) if the show should continue, or be dropped, Second, This series will have a storyline, and be alot longer than 'Hydro' episodes.

Next thing big thats happening, is as you know some of my videos have 30 second ads, well now they have a thing called True View Ads. This means after 5 seconds, you can choice to finish watching the ad, or to skip it. I hope this helps the people who dislike watching the ad videos :)

Paid Product Placement Update (:

Day 2, YAY! (:. So as most of you guys know, Im a YouTube Partner, meaning I get payed for placing ads on my videos. Since I know these ads can be annoying, I only place Preroll Ads (the 30 second ones) on my very popular videos. Even tho I try to keep my ads to a minimal for you guys, I do plan on working with a agency on getting Paid Product Placement (People pay to put there products in my videos somewhere) on some of the newer 'Hydro' videos. I hope this doesn't bother people, it should be next to unnoticeable.

Don't worry, all my Youtube revenue, goes to new video editing, filming, and sets for my newer videos.

My First Blog!

Holy Sh**!!
I never expected to be using one of these "Blog" things, but I decided It would help me answer stuff for you guys, and kinda expose stuff early.

Well I have been talking to a few people about a couple new series on my channel :)  Here are the names as of now and what there about:

1) 'Project Daley' - This series is about 2 main characters, Daley, and Cooper. I am still working on scripting a story line, but expect it to be similar to 'Hydro' but a little bit more clean.

2) Collab Channel - No this isn't ScreamCOLLAB, Sadly I don't have the resources to get that account up, but I am working on another channel, but nothings guarantied so I don't wanna get anyones hopes up.

I'll post more on this later, Im Hydro, and Im out!
